It was such a pleasure meeting Reilly & Mitch for our engagement session at St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis! One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is the ability to explore and take our time. We started the session just outside Aster Cafe and then made our way to Nicollet Island where we popped a bottle of champagne.
You can tell that Reilly and Mitch are all about having fun and enjoying the moment! Not only did they bring a bottle of champagne to pop and celebrate at the end of the session, even their first date was about soaking in the moment. They met about three years ago on Hinge and they had such a good first date that they lost track of time and it lasted about four hours. These were COVID times so it was extra special to be able to spend that time with each other.
Mitch proposed to Reilly this last June and planned a brunch picnic for the two of them at Excelsior Commons. He received help from both their moms, and from Reilly’s friend and sister to help make it special. He even organized to have photos taken during the proposal. Way to go, Mitch! Then after the picnic, they celebrated with family and friends. I loved hearing about how thoughtful Mitch was planning his proposal and I can only imagine how this intentionality shapes who Reilly and Mitch are as a couple, with everyone they meet, and with all the joyful times spent with loved ones.
I look forward to seeing them both again for their wedding in August 2024!
