Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom Wedding Photography

Sarah & Luke:

Elegant. Joyful. Tasteful. Detailed. Traditional. Balanced. These are the words I would use to describe Sarah and Luke’s wedding day at the metropolitan wedding venue, Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom.

Sarah and Luke radiate kindness and I could see it throughout this day with everyone they communicated with from their family and friends to their wedding vendors. Unsurprisingly, they were eager to be around everyone who made their day extra special. 

We started the morning at the AC Hotel where the groom and groomsmen were getting ready. We even had the opportunity to visit the Noerenberg Memorial Gardens in Minnetonka where we took some wedding party photos and portraits of the bride and groom. Sarah and Luke had a beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. One of my favorite moments from this ceremony is when Sarah was putting on Luke’s ring. It was a little tight and took some noticeable effort. The giggles and the smiles from the couple and everyone in the audience were an added touch of humor to their ceremony. And to top it all off, we were going from location to location in a party bus. Such a brilliant way to travel! 

Sarah and Luke had their reception at the beautiful space of the Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom. This place suited Sarah and Luke perfectly. A grandiose room full of their closest family and friends dressed to the nines. One special little secret near the Metropolitan Ballroom & Clubroom was a place called the Bacchus Garden. A hidden place that your Google search wouldn’t even be able to find. 😉 (Try it, I have and Google doesn’t seem to know about it!) Here you can find fountains, a Bacchus sculpture in the center of the garden, and greenery. The perfect location for sunset photos with the dreamiest light pouring in. And the best part—it’s only a block from the venue.

It was an exquisite day for an exquisite pair. Full of laughter and special memories made.
