Lunemann’s Luney Berries Strawberry Farm Wedding // Grand Rapids, MN

Imagine: you’re in the forest. It’s serene. autumn colors absorb the treetops, and the weather is perfectly crisp with just enough sunshine to warm the sky. Now imagine a little deeper…your cheeks start to hurt from smiling all day, you’re soaking up all the love given to you from your family and friends, and you’re about to marry your best friend in a place that gives you peace.

That’s how I would describe Dani & Cord’s wedding day. It was a beautiful fall day located at Lunemann’s Luney Berries Strawberry Farm in Cohasset, MN. The day started on Prairie Lake, where Dani and Cord were separated from one another as they got ready for the day. I always enjoy the start of wedding days where the suspense starts to build as both the bride and groom get ready—it’s during this time when they start to think about their significant other, how their day will unfold, and allow their emotions to unfold as the couple gets into their wedding attire. Things are starting to feel real, the day has finally arrived!

After the cabins, we made our way to Lunemann’s Luney Berries Strawberry Farm, where the first looks took place. Dani shared a special first look with her father, which then was closely followed by a surprise first look between Cord and one of his good buds. Then Dani and Cord had their first shared moment together of the day; you could tell that they just glow in each other’s presence.

The ceremony was an intimate ceremony tucked away in the woods. They shared their vows in front of a beautiful hand-made altar and lantern that the groom had made himself. There were other decorations on the trees and even in the reception area that you could tell were made from a place of love. It was truly special to capture Dani and Cord’s wedding in nature—a place they love, surrounded by their own personal touches and the amazing people in their lives. And one of the best parts…it didn’t stop there, everyone was ready to hit the dance floor. Everyone brought out their best dance moves and was happy to celebrate the newlyweds.
